Sextiles

Hey all

I'm really not sure about sextiles and how strong they are as an indicator in a chart. I rarely see anything come out of a sextile, more often I see a trine come to fruition but hardly ever a sextile. Why would this be so? Is it too weak an aspect to bring about results? I know another answer would be to look deeper into the chart to see what could have inhibited the sextile's fruition... but I'm just wondering how often sextiles come to fruition..

Less often, usually, although more often than squares. Sextiles indicate an opportunity, whereas trines usually indicate a lot more energy behind driving the matter forward. Usually.

I get it yes, sextiles are like "well maybe I can do so and so, but then again it doesn't matter if I don't", but trines are more "hey ho I'm definately doing this no matter what!".

And squares are "well if I have to then I'll climb over these hot coals, jump 1000 hurdles, swing through 10,000 loops to do so and so" - so in the end it becomes too hard to bring the thing into fruition..

Oppositions maybe would they be "yes definately doing this, (then when it happens), uh oh I've changed my mind!"
