Electional Astrology
What is electional astrology?
The electional astrology (known also as elective astrology) is the branch of astrology which identifies the most astrologically auspicious moments, the best astral configuration, in order to succeed in life, to have success in all our actions. The timing of the beginning of something new is an important factor which determines its outcome.The electional astrology helps you start an action when the astral rhythms are favorable, when the Universe is willing to help you. It is fit for those persons who wish to be in control of their life. It was compared with the surfing, because it actually means to catch the favorable temporal wave which goes in the desired direction. Through electional astrology we can find the favorable moments, the windows of opportunity for our actions. Most successful people do this instinctively, without using the astrology, just as there are many people who drive in a foreign country without a map, using only the traffic signs. It is however wiser to use a map when driving in such conditions, as it is to go to an astrologer before starting a new business or changing something really important in life.
The use of electional astrology won't guarantee you the total and unconditional success of your action, which will be mainly the result of own your talent and efforts. The situation can be further compared with the importance of the meteorological prognosis for the planning of our vacation. We'd like to have sunny days so that we enjoy our holiday, and would not go on a trip during rainy, windy days. The electional astrology is complementary to the meteorological prognosis, helping us to avoid unnecessary bad lucks or other unexpected unpleasant situation. There are many times when the entire holiday was spoilt by the loss of the luggage or the robbery of the wallet… These situations can be avoided through electional astrology.
What kinds of events are appropriate for electional astrology timing?
Examples of such events: the engagement and the wedding, divorce hearings, the baptize of a child, the opening of a new business, applying for a job, asking for a raise, purchase or sale an important or expensive item, a house or a property, beginning the construction of a house or building, business meetings, surgery, beginning of a medical treatment, sending an important letter, fax, email to achieve a specific goal, the departure on a trip and so on, actually EVERYTHING we want to have a positive and successful outcome, to be protected of unknown events.Anyone, whatever its field of activity can benefit greatly from astrological timing.
The limits of the electional astrology
The electional astrology functions within the limitations of the destiny of the person who uses it, as shown in the natal chart. That's why it will never bring success in business for someone whose natal chart is totally against that. However, if there are average or contradictory indications in the natal chart, the electional astrology may represent the weight which will determine the balance to incline toward the desired outcome.Also, there are moral and spiritual restrictions to the use of electional astrology in choosing the moment of birth of a child (unless there is a medical emergency for the mother or the baby), the moment for committing illegal, immoral or antisocial acts, or to harm another person. In theory, the astrologer can find a auspicious moment for a burglar not to be caught, but actually an astrologer will never do that.
